Community glass collection event. Open to anyone in the Fairbanks Northstar Borough, suggested to bring a small monetary donation. Compost FBX will also be there collecting food scraps for composting.

Food Scraps instructions: Bring any food waste you wish to be composted: fruit and veggie peels, coffee grounds/filters, eggshells. Please avoid meat, dairy, and foods cooked with lots of oils. Be careful to remove produce stickers, plastic packaging, and any other non compostable waste. Paper is fine.

*Bring your glass in a container that you don’t mind leaving with us (such as a cardboard box). As always, we will only accept clean glass of any color, with no plastic or metal rings or labels. Please do not leave glass at the park before hand, it will be considered trash and this property is private property, not a transfer site.

Additionally, If you have turquoise colored glass or Bombay Sapphire bottles or unique bottles that are just too cute, we will be accepting those as well, for our Too Cute To Crush Exchanges.
